Years ago, a friend introduced me to this Persian treat…Orange Blossom Water. Since then, I rarely serve fruit salad or a bowl of fresh berries without drizzling a bit of this delicately scented water over top. The flavor doesn’t overpower the fruit, but rather, it adds a lovely, slightly citrus perfume. It definitely jazzes things up a bit!
It’s fairly inexpensive and available at specialty food markets and on Amazon. A tiny drizzle goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a good while. (I seem to replace mine quite frequently, however, because guests always remark how much they like it and I end up sending them home with my bottle!)
